What day and time is the market on?
Every Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm

What is the stall criteria?
Arts, Crafts, Handmade, Locally made, Fair Trade, Small Business.

What is the stall size and cost?                                                                   

3m by 3m space including free car space behind stall is $70.

If stall is booked and paid a week in advance its $50.

An extra 3m by 3m space is $35 however only one car space will be allocated.

The Docklands Sunday Market is a very affordable market in the centre of the city.

In your 3m by 3m space you are able to have three 3 metre tables and free car space behind.

Trading hours are most of the day giving you the best chance to sell your goods.

The Christmas market stall fee on 9th December is $130 including a free car space behind your stall.

A $15 discount is applied to the Christmas market if paid for by the end of October bringing the fee down to $115.

The Christmas market features free entertainment, extended trading hours until 8pm and is being marketed through the City of Melbourne channels

Social Media and all outlets in the Docklands.

What are the dates of the market?

Every Sunday except in winter (June, July and August) when the market operates the second and fourth Sunday only.

We break for Christmas after 16th December 2018 and return in 2019 on Sunday January 13th.

How do I get there?

DRIVE: The Docklands Sunday Market is conveniently located only 5 minutes from the CBD

FREE TRAMS:
All trams are free to the Docklands from CBD

TRAIN:
Take the train to Southern Cross Station
and walk over the Bourke Street Pedestrian
Bridge to Harbour Esplanade, then
take a free tram along Harbour Esplanade to the last stop on Harbour Esplanade.

We are on the left along the waterfront on New Quay Promenade

What are the bump in and bump out times?
Food bumps in at 8.45 am and market stalls at 9 am

  • Market Duration: 10 am till 5 pm
  • Bump out: 5.30 to 6.30 pm

What do I do once I arrive?

Drive down Docklands drive, turn left onto Doepal Way and then Left again to Caravel Lane.

Once on Caravel Lane line up with other vehicles on left hand side and wait until you are allocated a space.

Cars will enter via St Mangoes Lane in order of placement at the discretion of the market manager.

Cars must drive at 5 km per hour on St Mangoes Lane and the New Quay Promenade with Hazard Lights on as we are entering a pedestrian space.

Stall Holder Equipment

The stall holder must provide all their own equipment we do not hire tables, marquees or any equipment.

The City of Melbourne requires 20 kg per leg weights on your marquee, ties and a catchment tray under your engine for potential oil spillage.

Market Location

In the open air on the New Quay Promenade by the water side with restaurants opposite.

A large volume of foot traffic due to numerous hotels, apartments and shopping close by.
